Kaisa Mäensivu Trio LIVE on the night of the living arts in Tislaamo 18.8.
The rare sonic combination of voice and vibraphone encompassed by the virtuosic jazz trio creates a fresh and engaging musical experience. The band is led by the upright bassist Kaisa Mäensivu, featuring Mikko Antila on vibrafone and Jonatan Sarikoski on drums.
The trio’s repertoire is a fun yet complex compilation of songs, including their own compositions and American jazz standards with cleverly adapted Finnish lyrics by Mäensivu.
