Come join us for a Summer party on the first of August at Tanner! Musically you can expect Hafla favorites, danceable Arab pop and SWANA* electro fusion with Arab, Kurdish, Iranian, and Turkish sounds and rhythms. This time Yalla Collective teams up with their friends at Nasha, who will end the night with a special closing set. Come habibi t3aal, the dance floor needs you! 

Yalla Collective is a Helsinki based DJ ensemble celebrating music and culture of the broader SWANA (South West Asia and North-Africa) region and its diasporas in Finland. With club nights at Ravintola Tanner on the first Saturday of every second month, Yalla embarks on a sonic journey with varying themes, always making the crowd move and dance.

Nasha is a community-run multidisciplinary collective with a shared passion for exploring new mediums to tell other(ly) stories. In their DJ sets they blend techno, house, and ambient soundscapes with traditional rhythms from SWANA and beyond.

*SWANA is an anti-colonial term referring to the regions of Southwest Asia and North Africa.
