Eventual as a platform

Eventual is a marketplace for events

Eventual is a marketplace combining tools to create, support and manage events. Now you probably want to know what motivates us, and who we are.

Who we are

about us
The vision
To turn the model of events industry upside down

We want to create a culture where crowds become the ultimate decision-makers and event organisers can thrive. The Eventual platform was built on a need to enrich the events industry. It takes the risk out of a risky business, it generates hype for artists and performers and reaches audiences that are just as passionate about culture creation as you are.

about us
Our mission
To empower, diversify and democratise

Our mission is to diversify the events industry by empowering people to influence their local scene and democratise the process of how events come alive.

about us
Diversity & Inclusivity
Our mission is bigger than tools.
  • It’s about lifting voices that otherwise would not be heard.
  • It’s about creating equal opportunities for artists, venues and event-goers.
  • It’s about removing barriers that prevent some groups from fully participating in culture creation.
  • It’s about supporting impartiality in processes and giving fair compensation to all parties involved.
  • It’s about making safer spaces visible – respecting each other’s opinions and experiences, identity and background, and physical and emotional boundaries. We do not tolerate any kind of harassment.

We recognise that the events industry doesn’t always cater to everyone, which is why we aim to do our best to make the events as inclusive as possible.

We encourage our partners to do the same

Our story

An audience is not just a mass of people. It’s a group of individuals who hold the power in the events industry. Without an audience, there would be no gigs and clubs. And without gigs and clubs, there would be no Eventual. Literally.

Live events enthusiasts Miia and Uzair first met in front of Club Kaiku in 2015. As their story together grew, so did their goal to get other event enthusiasts more involved in the cultural programming. After quitting their day jobs, Eventual was founded at the beginning of 2021 with the aim to connect the audience with the events industry on a single platform. Through Eventual, the public has more influence over the content of the event scene and the industry has more financial security to create live experiences.

Later in the same year, the team of founders gained a new member. Toni Rantanen, one of the founders of Flow Festival and Sörnäinen club complex, joined the team. He was fascinated by the idea of building a platform that lets the venues, artists and audiences have more creative freedom in the culture industry and how venues similar to his, like Club Kaiku, can bring like-minded people together.

Co-create with us

Let’s reset the stage.

We are here to make events happen – together. A place where you can manage your event, handle your bookings, take care of ticketing and even campaign for an event. That’s Eventual.

Venue, performer, promoter or supporter, start here by becoming a co-creator.

Cofounder, Partnerships

Toni Rantanen (aka Lil'Tony) is a driving force in the Helsinki music scene as the cofounder & programmer of Flow Festival and director of Sörnäinen club complex. Growing up, he enjoyed any extreme sports he could come across, competing nationally in motocross, in the World Cup in downhill bicycling and - despite the multiple bones broken - filling his free time with climbing, snowboarding and surfing across the globe.

He started DJing internationally in 1989 and, since then, Toni has created pioneering club concepts, such as the long-running Darkroom and VUM Open Air. Rantanen joined Eventual as a co-founder in the Autumn of 2021. His passion for music counts musical gems to his vast vinyl collection while digging deeper into making music and edits.

Toni has steered his venues to always host the most interesting performers to cater to the clubgoers’ selective tastes - that’s why he advocates a wider events scene.
