Helsinki Tribe IV esittää jälleen jotain uutta: 60-luvun psykedeliaa ja garagea!
Illan aloittaa harvoin esiintyvä Revolving Doors, joka tuo meille tuulahduksen The Doorsin kulta-ajalta. Tunnelmasta huolehtivat Marjo Leinonen, Risto Kumpulainen (urut) ja Sami (Sande) Vettenranta (rummut) ja Tuomo Dahlbom (kitara).
The Mike Bell Cartel kuvailee musiikkityyliään garage punkiksi: “haunting melodies and harmonies, jangly guitars and searing fuzztone, eerie farfisa org”. Mikäli ei tietäisi, että bändin biisit ovat uusia, voisi kuvitella levytyksen olevan oikeasti 60-luvulta. Tämä ei toki ole yllätys, sillä yhtyeessä soittavat Pekka Laine, Ville Särmä, Miikka Siira, Samuel Abaijon, ja Mikko Siven.
Helsinki Tribe IV 60-luvun psykedelia- ja garageiltaa varten The Mike Bell Cartel on tehnyt erityisen setin kuuluisalta Nuggets-kokoelmalta, joka sisältää psykedeelistä ja garage rockia vuosilta 1965-1968.

Helsinki Tribe IV presents something new again: 60s psychedelia and garage!
The evening starts with the rarely performing Revolving Doors, which brings us a breath of the golden age of The Doors. The atmosphere is provided by Marjo Leinonen, Risto Kumpulainen (organ) and Sami (Sande) Vettenranta (drums).
The Mike Bell Cartel describes their musical style as garage punk: "haunting melodies and harmonies, jangly guitars and searing fuzztone, eerie Farfisa org". If you didn't know that the band's songs are new, you could imagine that the recording was from the 60s. This is of course not a surprise, because 60s specialists Pekka Laine, Ville Särmä, Miikka Siira, Samuel Abaijon, and Mikko Siven play in the band.
For the Helsinki Tribe IV psychedelic and garage night of the 60s, The Mike Bell Cartel will play a special set from the famous Nuggets collection, which contains psychedelic and garage rock from the years 1965-1968.
DJ Daddy Suburbanite plays the record music that fits the theme of the evening.
