World Canvas welcomes you to a showcase evening of boundary-breaking live and DJ performances from contemporary experimental electronic musicians from near and far. For the showcase at hand we’re excited to host the Berlin-based multidisciplinary artist bod [包家巷] (Nicholas Zhu) and its new live performance, following the release of a collaborative concept album ‘Music Made By Other People’. Additionally we will host live performances from Helsinki duo Kointähti whose album will be released via World Canvas during autumn 2022, and Umami Kiss - an explorative performance group featuring a shifting arrangement of musicians from Helsinki, bringing together their voices in a search for live performance’s possibilities and stretching the boundaries of acoustic and electronic instruments.

The showcase will be supported by DJ sets from Lithuania-born cross-disciplinary artist ang3l_sp1der (Miša Skalskis), and Twin Father (Gabriel Boicel), the visual curator of World Canvas. Visuals for the event will be provided by multimedia artist and designer Otso Reitala.
