After a five-year hiatus, the electronic and dance music festival Turku Modern is making its highly anticipated return by opening the festival summer of 2023. To celebrate this, Lauri Soini, the curator of Turku Modern's music program, invites you to join the pre-party at Tanner on Saturday, March 25th, along with international guest from Paris, Vidal Benjamin.
Vidal Benjamin is a renowned record digger known for unearthing forgotten, neglected, or despised records from record fairs, flea markets, and garage sales. He's highly regarded within a small circle of diggers for his altruistic, educational, and festive approach. Vidal has curated three iconic compilations on Versatile, namely, Disco Sympathie, Pop Sympathie, and House Sympathie, which showcase the unique sounds of French synth-pop, new wave, and house music.
