Lauri Soini Invites: Charlie (SZUM, KRAKOW)

Experience the fusion of electronic music as Lauri Soini invites Charlie, the talented Polish DJ and producer, to Tanner on the evening before Ascension Day, Thursday 17th May.

Charlie, also known as Leona Jacewska, is a versatile artist with a significant impact on Krakow's dance music scene. In addition to organizing SZUM parties, she is involved in curating a series of exhibitions and music events called "Elementarz dla mieszkańców miast".

Behind the decks she has been smashing dancefloors for years, selecting an eclectic yet always driving mix drawing from techno to house, electro and Italo disco. As a skilled pianist, she has always been drawn to creating her own music, which she has released on labels such as Ferry Lane Records, Mechatronica, Worn Pop and Dom Trojga. She has even provided live accompaniment to experimental films by Kenneth Anger and Maya Deren.
