Hekuma - Friday 17.5.2024

17th May 2024, Fri 19:00 - Fri 22:00

Comedian Juuso Kekkonen and shibari artist Amy May will create a night where kink positive stand-up and rope art will merge into atmospheric unity. Show builds on stories and performances where it’s possible to wonder of the diversity of sexuality and how it affects in our society. This is also a project of two friends that allows them to work creatively together.

The theme for May Hekuma is roleplay and all performances are connected to the theme some way. This May we have two Heluma nights; on Friday 17th in English and on Saturday 18th in Finnish.

At the end of the evening the performers will have questions & answers for audience to ask questions.

Amy May is a rope artist and a teacher, and she’s one of the founding members of Helsinki Shibari. Amy offers rope lessons and private sessions on her private studio in Helsinki, and teaches workshops at Helsinki Shibari and internationally. At Hekuma she’ll perform with her bottom Muumiponi.

Juuso Kekkonen is a comedian whose specialty is talking about intellectually, culturally and emotionally complex issues in form of easily approachable humor. He’s best known for his autobiographical comedy performances and as a host of Punch Up - Resistance & Glitter.

On the stage this evening we’ll also see lovely burlesque star Armi Von Vep and sexworker & sexologist Tiia Forsström.

The event is for adults only. (K18)
